The refurbishment works, completed in stages, involved the bedrooms and offices on the ground floor, the swimming pool area and the design of the path leading from the main square of Anacapri to the hotel reception.
A dense and vast colonnade marks the path to the fountain and the overlooking garden, preparing visitors for the sumptuous yet balanced welcoming atmosphere that characterizes the hotel lobby and reception areas.
The swimming pool, visible through the round windows along the driveway, is covered with glass tiles, developed from a sketch by the artist Velasco Vitali.
On the ground floor, the Andromeda, Athena and Demetra suites with a garden and private swimming pool were created by combining standard guest rooms.
Gli interventi sviluppati in tempi diversi riguardano la ristrutturazione delle camere e degli uffici al piano terra, l'area della piscina e il disegno del percorso che dalla piazzetta centrale di Anacapri conduce alla reception dell'albergo.
Un fitto e massiccio colonnato scandisce il percorso di arrivo alla fontana e al giardino prospiciente preannunciando l'atmosfera di sontuosa ma equilibrata accoglienza che caratterizza le aree recettive dell'albergo.
La piscina, la cui vasca è visibile attraverso gli oblò sul viale d'ingresso, è rivestita in mosaico di vetro realizzato sulla base di un bozzetto dell'artista Velasco Vitali.
Al piano terra dall'unione di più camere sono state ricavate suite Andromeda, Athena e Demetra
